Pricing Guidelines & Suggestions

At our last sale, many of our consignors requested that we provide a pricing guidelines sheet, so here it is! The prices listed below are just suggestions and guidelines based on what sold at our last sale and what other consignment sales are selling their items for. Please note that you ultimately have the final say on what you price your items for. If you think you should put a different price on a particular item please feel free to do so.
***The main thing to keep in mind when pricing your items, is what you paid for it and what you would buy it for used.***If someone could find that item on sale in a store brand new for your asking price or cheaper, then you want to mark it lower. Also consider the name brand when pricing.

***All items MUST be priced in increments of 50 cents. ($0.50, 1.00, $1.50, $2.00, $2.50, etc...)***

CLOTHING:

Infant & Toddler
Onesies- $1-$2
Sleepers- $1-$2
Pants- $1-$5
Shirts- $1-$5
Dresses- $2-$8
Shoes $1-$5

Older Kids
Pants $2-$8
Shirts $2-$8
Skirts & Dresses $2-$8
Shoes $2-$10

*Socks of any size - $0.50 or $1

***Keep in mind what you paid for it and price accordingly. If it is a boutique brand you may want to raise the price a little.

TOYS:
Good rule of thumb- ¼ of what you paid for it…So if you paid $20, our price suggestion would be $5 or less.

BOOKS: $0.50-$3

NURSERY/KIDS' FURNITURE:
Good rule of thumb- 1/3 to 1/2 of what you paid for it. If you want to price if for less and make sure it sells that is up to you. Or if you want to price if for more, remember that is fine, too!

INFANT ITEMS:
Swings, pack and plays, high chairs, bouncy seats, strollers, etc… Good rule of thumb- 1/3 of what you paid for it. What would you buy it for used?

***If we have not given a price suggestion for an item you are selling, again consider what you paid for it and what you would pay for it usedIf you have any questions please email us at simply4kids@gmail.com. Tell us what your item is and how much you paid for it brand new and we will try our best to help you. Thanks!
